The Eruv of Jerusalem

Inspired by the work of the artist Sophie Calle “The Eruv of Jerusalem”, that focused on the boundary between the private and public space. Special screening of  experimental short films on the boundary between the private and the municipal, created by Jerusalem-based students and independent filmmakers

 

The works and films of the following artists will be screened:

“A Dream in Tokyo” – Omer Cohen, Amitai Cohen

“Parallels” – Boris Haimov, Screen Based Arts department, Bezalel

“Dreams pf Elsewhere” – Naama Shohat, Screen Based Arts department, Bezalel

“The Orphan’s Gift” – Dan Robert Lachiani, Screen Based Arts department, Bezalel

“Next Stop” – Einat Gaulan, Sam Spiegel Film and Television School

“The Other Side” – Meital Kovo

“My Father’s Son” – Hillel Rate, Ma’aleh School of Television, Film & the Arts

“Sweeping the Stone” – Yonatan Swed, Screen Based Arts department, Bezalel

(100 minutes)

A panel discussion will be conducted with the artists following the screening
